My greatest reward comes from walking through life’s ups and downs with people – helping them to realize their potential, despite limitations, and to achieve their goals.
Alissa began her career in the financial services industry in 2015 and has developed and maintained relationships with high-net-worth individuals, as well as non-profit organizations. Prior to entering the financial services industry, her career experience included national, state, and local political campaigns, and issue advocacy organizations. On the surface, it is difficult to see how those two career paths could intersect, but she has combined her natural and developed skills into a three-pronged position at Schneider Downs Wealth Management Advisors.
As a problem solver, Alissa is heavily involved in the financial planning process and is responsible for advising her own clients. Recently, Alissa has redesigned the SDWMA website and has developed a marketing management role, building and implementing a marketing plan from the ground up.
Alissa lives east of Pittsburgh with her husband, two daughters, and three dogs, Willie, Stella, and Rooster. She enjoys hiking and outdoor activities, traveling and experiencing new cultures and adventures with her family, and trying new restaurants. The Garcia family enjoys taking care of their mini farm with a large garden, rabbits, and chickens.
