Financial companies choose how they share your personal information. Federal law gives consumers the right to limit some but not all sharing. Federal law also requires us to tell you how we collect, share, and protect your personal information. Please read this notice carefully to understand what we do.


The types of personal information we collect and share depend on the product and service you have with us. This information can include:

  • Account balances and transaction information including any realized gain / loss tax information

When you are no longer our customer, we continue to share your information as described in this notice.

How does SDWMA protect my personal information?


To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings.


SDWMA limits access to your information to those employees and service providers who are involved in offering or administering the products or services to you, such as transfer agents, custodians, brokers, reporting services and third party managers selected to manage your accounts. SDWMA trains our employees to respect customer privacy and to recognize the importance of confidentiality. If our relationship ends, we will continue to treat your non-public personal information as confidential and safeguard that information.



How does SDWMA collect my personal information?


We collect your personal information, for example, when you

· Open an account or deposit money

· Complete an Investment Policy Statement or financial questionnaire

· Verbally provide financial information to SDWMA

We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates and other companies


Why can’t I limit all sharing?


Federal law gives you the right to limit only

· Sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes – information about your creditworthiness

· Affiliates from using your information to market to you

· Sharing for non-affiliates to market to you


State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.






Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies.

SDWMA does not share with non-affiliates so they can market to you.

A formal agreement between non-affiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.

SDWMA does not jointly market.

For California Residents. In accordance with California law, we will not share information we collect about you with non-affiliates, except as allowed by law. For example, we may share information with your consent or to service your accounts. Among our affiliates, we will limit information sharing to the extent required by California law.
